Hi Everyone ! I bought 64' B61SX and was told the engine was a 250, it is a Mack engine and is turbo, it does look like a later model engine, has jakes, I can't find a plate or any simple indentification. The block casting # 239 GB5354 and are the only #'s I see. It does run strong and has a 13 sp od Roadranger behind it.

Thanks, Ross

The numbers are stamped in the block, just ahead of the inj. pump, on that curved area right where the timing case cover bolts on, unless it was originally in a cabover truck, then the numbers could be on the rear of the block, just below the head gasket.

If it's a 250, the model numbers stamped in that area should be ENDT673C.

Hi, It does have ENDT 673 stamped on it, but I can't really tell if there is a "C" on the end. Are there any other determining factors to determine the horsepower or vintage? it looks to have the original gray Mack paint.

Thanks, Ross
