Johnny B Posted September 26, 2006 Share Posted September 26, 2006 Hi, folks-- I'm new to the board... The company I work for is getting around to scrapping some old mid-80's Midliners. Before they go, I'd like to salvage the Bulldog ornaments off the noses. The heads of the bolts that secure the dogs' hind paws look like two opposing triangles. Is there a special bit or driver that is required to remove these bolts? What is it called? Thanks for any advice. woberlin Posted September 26, 2006 Share Posted September 26, 2006 It sounds like a clutch head screw. Most bit sets have one in them, or can be bought at sears or most any hardware store with a gook tool selection. You may want to spray them with some penetrating oil before you attempt removing them. rick harper Posted September 27, 2006 Share Posted September 27, 2006 those screws part number 103AX105 are anti theft screws. will have to cut them off or find a BFS to catch the screw and back them out.
