Thank you- I always like to see pictures of people that might be useful later!

what about the rest of the dog?

Larry, did you have to extend your mirror brackets after you put the sleeper on?

oh my god,,,thats nice..wooo...the B not hard to look at either,,,was wondering if you have ever concidered buying an old beat up cruiseliner,,and pulling out the whole driveline,,,usually cheaper that way,,some times find them,,for just couple grand,,im sure you would be much happier with a 285-300 plus...over?.bob

Oh crap.........now they know I'm a grey haired hippie!!! That's Pat Mackin with his back to the camera.

Tom, the mirrors are "just" wide enough to see around the bunk okay. If you look at the picture with me in it, you'll notice the drivers mirror is just outside the bunk.

The picture was at Wellington, Ohio. The Lagrange engine show is at the fairgrounds every fall. Our local ATHS chapter gets together and has a meeting there. Some guys stay all weekend as they also have tractors and pull too. Neat show, lots of stuff to look at. Our club has been there for many years and take up the back corner of the property.

Bob, had thoughts of getting complete truck, but the township would likely linch me if I had some junk semi sitting in the driveway LOL! (or at least give me grief about it). Been there, dealt with them already with my truck. I suppose the more power the better, but I'd be happy with even a 250hp ENDT673C right now. I'm not greedy. Buddy wants me to ditch the triplex for a 13 spd. I just don't want to give it up yet. Plus since I just put that little aux box I don't think it would put up with a BUNCH of torque. We'll see............don't have extra money now anyway LOL!

I didn't know if they stuck out that far at first or not, just wondering.

And see what I mean about the picture?

thank you for sharing picks of your build just bought a 56 B not shure on rest waiting to tow it home to get to work really excited been doin alot of research on how and what I want to do , thanks for the insperation Steven Peterbough ontario canada

slpwlker, I don't plan on using the aux for much other then slow moving when I'm backing up. I was surprised that it doesn't give me as much reduction as I was thinking, but any is better then none. It moves a bit too fast(in direct) for my taste and I don't like riding the clutch while manuveuring.

6041 has a 2.14 1st gear. Should be a nice little setup. My Dodge 5500 has a 7041 with a 2.30 low gear and it is the best thing going when slow manuvering.

Now that I figured out the shift pattern, I found the LOW hole. It does creep along pretty nice now. Could always be slower, but it's a far cry from not having it at all!

Jay, it was done at the show, but I'm just getting around to getting the little things done(like the aux shifter). It's been "done" since last May. I'm just getting around to "completing" it now LOL!
