Hey Guys I am Corey Price From Sparta, TN. I have always loved Mack Trucks and been around trucking all my life but have never drove a truck for a living. I have been president of the Music City Chapter ATHS since 2004. Every year at all the truck shows the members would ask me when I was goona get me a truck. I would always say gotta buy the family a house first then would just go on. Well one day a few people got together and decided their president needed a truck and knowing I was a Mack man they knew it had to be a Mack. So on April 18th, 2008 at Smokey Mtn. Chapter ATHS first annual truck show in Clinton,Tn. they presented me with my 1986 Mack Ultraliner. I was so excited I just kept walking circles around the truck. Tracy Howard in Knoxville gave the truck it was a extra one setting around his shop that had been a mobile home toter. On friday they all got together and cleaned on it and put some alumnium wheels on it. It has a mack 300 that has been turned up to a 350. It has a eaton 9 speed double overdrive . It had been a tandem axle but converted to a single axle. I hope to make it back to a tandem axle someday. So to all the guys who helped Thanks so much guys.

Hi Corey, Nice family, and truck there. Your priorities are straight which is such an "off beaten" path these days it seems with young people. Glad you enjoy the hobby and you are like I was in several ways, young family with it's needs prioritized first, strong interest in trucks and trucking with never having employment in this arena. Suppose I could be considered "brand loyal" also as I have a "few" Mack trucks.

Certainly refreshing to hear of other people sharing their generosity in support of this hobby.

Hope to see you post more often.

Rob

To post pic's at Hanks forum you need to have a Photobucket account or an account at one of the other photo sites. I am not sure about posting on Hank's main site. I think you may need to forward the pic's to him for posting and he appreciates a small donation as the site is his and not supported by outside sponsorship as I understand it.
