Daingerfield is a quaint, quiet little town that time seems to have forgotten. Days come and go with little fanfare, especially those long, hot Summer days when the crickets chirp, the fish jump, and the sun beats down mercilessly. Today is not one of those days. RandyP, favorite son of Daingerfield, his trusty wonder dog Spot, and Sheriff Other Dog have just made a shocking discovery as the sun peaks over the horizon. Randy's chosen means of transport, his trusty B61 Mack, lovingly referred to as "Killer B" has been stolen while Randy, Spot, and Sheriff Other Dog were fighting off a pack of Aztec Indians hell bent on sacrificing them to their elder gods.Randy's agonized scream echoes through the town. Soon the phone lines are abuzz, women swoon, men spit and cuss, children no longer laugh and play and everyone has heard of Randy's predicament.Spot is particularly upset by the theftSheriff Other Dog is hard at work on the case, tracking down leads and questioning suspectsThe trap now set, Sheriff Other Dog poses as an everyday mixer driver.Owing to the Sheriff's high moral standards however, his conscience urges him to help an old lady cross the road, and when he comes back he finds his mixer mysteriously gone too!To be continued.... rhasler Posted December 25, 2010 Author Share Posted December 25, 2010 With the deadline for construction of the new Longhorn Lagoon Stadium drawing near, things are looking pretty grim for Randy and Sheriff Other Dog. While the city fathers cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and wonder "Whatever are we to do about these truck thieves?", the Sheriff redoubles his efforts to locate the missing trucks, sending out APB's to every police force and constabulatory within 500 miles while Randy and Spot canvas the town searching for clues.The truckless trio packs their bags and head straight off to sunny south Florida. rhasler Posted December 25, 2010 Author Share Posted December 25, 2010 With the command to attack barely issuing from Randy's mouth, Spot wades in at wide open throttle with all the sublety of a wolverine, wantonly waylaying the pirates. A ball of fury, all gnashing and chomping teeth!Spot's attack leaves the exporters running for cover, despite their superior numbers and firepower they are no match for Spot the Wonder Dog!Sheriff Other Dog takes the opportunity to call in the Coast Guard to take command of the situation. The exporters are promptly arrested and deported!With Killer B and Miss Becky safely back home, our heros return back to their normal everyday routines to await their next adventure! 1 Quote "Mebbe I'm too ugly and stupid to give up!" I came up with this idea about halfway through the planning stage for Episode 2. As I was planning that one out I said to myself, "What I really need is a story that is a tiumph of the human spirit.". That's what I came up with. Quote "Mebbe I'm too ugly and stupid to give up!" I have a lot to catch up on, had a lil medical malfunction right before christmas and am just now recovering.
