Remove the oil cooler from the engine and replace the "O" rings and end gaskets to the unit. Common to leak on older engines with age. The kits are about $15.00 from PAI.

We are having a similar problem with our 1992 MH Mack! It has a 400hp E7 engine and is leaking oil into the radiator. We have replaced all O rings and seals in the oil cooler and pressured tested. The problem still remains. Has Rob or anyone else had this same experience or know what the problem might be?

Sorry but I have no experience with an E7 series of engine at all. Oil in the radiator could be a blown head gasket internally. The engine oil pressure is much higher than the cooling system pressure. Also a cracked liner, (if wet sleeve engine) or a bad liner seal could cause the same thing. A bad turbocharger coolant seal could also be suspect.

Apologies as I can't be more specific.

If your truck has a water cooled transmission cooler it might be leaking there.

"Mebbe I'm too ugly and stupid to give up!"
