bullhusk Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Devino drove over the Brockway today!! 1966 N260L, She's an old Navy tandem tractor with 36,000 mi on her. I took it for a spin with his dealer plate still on. Well all the gears in the 4X3 trans work!! the 270 Cummins sounds real good also. It does not have the orig. bumper & is missing the grill guard, but other then that she's all there! A little rust over the windshield but no dents or rust under the doors. The weird thing about this tractor?? It's got a really heavy 5th wheel,looks like it has two inch pins an has a big two inch nut under the plate that makes it have ability to rock from side to side, I've seen something similar on the big Army Tractors, but not with this side to side deal. Anyway he said to bring my digital camera to the garage on Monday an that would be easier for him to do. Maybe if I get A chance tomorrow I'll take a ride down to Jersey City an take some I know.... Iknow.... It's very frustrating on my end also!!! Hey Mark, when in dallas, you wont be but bout 125 miles west of me, shreveport only bout 75 miles. Its not snowing here anymore, it melted. just wet and rainy.
