vision386 Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 Yup this is the Letourneau LCC1 Sno-train,quite an interesting story behind this thing! there used to be a HUGE Letourneau "crash tender" used to tow aircraft that had overshot the runway,somewhere down in texas,sitting beside the highway,this thing was huge! seems to me was powered by a V-16 locomotive engine or something of the sort,pieces of this vehicle still exist in alaska somewhere i believe......I was always partial to MACKS version of the snow train! some big ass trucks right there!......Mark Quote Mack Truck literate.
