vision386 Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 I was browsing around Hanks truck pictures today,and found this H-model,my question is, does anyone know what the small box behind the stack contains? its kinda hard to make out,but it almost looks like it says Thermo-king on it,i see the truck is equipped with roof-top air conditioning,my thinking is maybe this is some-type early self-contained compessor unit? never seen anything like this mounted on this early a truck,just curious any ideas?..........the pictures blow up a lot better on hanks,kinda hard to see here..............Mark Quote Mack Truck literate. It hand a 1 cyl gas engine driveing the AC compressor, mounted on the frame like that. It was a Thermo King. h67st Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 If you enlarge the photo from the Hank's website you can definitely make out the single-cylinder gas engine in that box.
