Speed Posted March 22, 2011 Share Posted March 22, 2011 Okay-I might have already done this,but here's the number I got straight from the build sheet for my truck:485GB145A. This doesn't cross to anything at the parts stores,so it's either superceded by another number or it's just not available anymore. If I still had the original filter,I could at least hunt one down by measurement,but as it is now,I'm not sure I can get a close enough match from just the housing measurements. What filters are you other "E" owners using? My truck's a 1945 EH,the engine's an EN354. I've tried the NAPA number,but it's too small diameter and too short to use,but too long to stack two of. It was a sock type filter with a perforated steel cap on the top,which was domed. (It was so tightly fit or swollen in I had to pry the top off the cartridge and cut the rest apart to get it out.) Sorry to bug you again about this,but I'll be financially able to buy a proper filter for it soon and don't want that to slip through the cracks again. Thanks again for your help! THEY couldn't come up with a replacement either.
