If you look closely, all the tires have "squish" to them. That is heavy.

You should see how they size the tires for the load. Those are only small 17.5's designed to carry a little over 4000 lbs at HIGHWAY speeds. But since these monster setups rarely go over 5MPH, you can put a hell of a lot more weight on a tire at lower speeds. I believe those tires are carrying somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000+ pounds! Read that in a brochure from Nicolas, a company that builds those types of hydraulic platform trailers. Those trailer also self level front to back and side to side. so going up an incline, the trailer will have the front most axles low to the ground while the rear most axles are extended. Also same for side-side. Wild stuff.

A customer of mine is a house mover. One of the platforms they use can control 18 hydraulic cylinders. It is something to watch them cross a ditch with a house and it stay perfectly level.
