Looking for Cylinder heads for a 1947 Mack 75 fire chassis. Truck is used in Parades and his owned by the Tallmadge Ohio Historical Society. The Engine serial # is ENF510a-28-15. That was common problem on the small block Mack Thremodyne engine. I emailed you with the contact info for Nationbal Gear and Piston that remanufactured our ENF 464 head in 2002 and is still working fine.

That head can most likely be repaired but will be expensive. This is of course unrelated if you can't find a replacement. A 55% nickle filler works well on cylinder heads but the technique has to be correct with pre, and post heating to avoid stess cracking. Most competent machine shops can perform this function followed by an "old time" automotive machine shop for second operations. Of course if you can find a shop that works all inclusive, they could handle the job complete.
