I posted in introductions that I would post a cool pic of an H-67 tandem i found back in the 80's If anyone has seen this truck outside of Minot, N.D. Chime in please! I would love to hear whatever happened to it. I love these H-63's & 67's I also remember a Brown COE Emeryville sitting near it with a lowboy. The inside door of the H-67 said Mack Trucks Piscataway N.J. if I remember. I will try to find the pic of that also.post-8618-0-55366100-1306344778_thumb.jp

There is a nice H67 single axle available for sale here in PA. runs good, has a good body and interior, needs paint, was a originally from a southern trucking company (virginia maybe) I can get pictures if interested. I think the original color was red, however now looks like it could be either red or green.

I'll have to try to find the picture, I have it somewhere? you may be right! It may have been Plainfield.

I believe Ernie (BULLHUSK) is right,Mack was headquartered at Plainfield,NJ at one time, and had a plant in Somerville also. I've seen an awful lot of ID/data plates stamped Plainfield....................Mark

Mack Truck literate. Computer illiterate.

Before the building went up in Allentown in 1971, Plainfield, NJ was Mack headquarters. The engine plant was also there prior to the Hagerstown facility.

you know,,it wasnt so long ago, allied van lines,,were running abuncha those..thru the early 80,s out in the bay area.california..that would be a nice little project for you b52...bob

Yeah that would be cool.. Wish I had some more property to keep one. I have just a half acre but you can't keep commercial vehicles in my development. I have a real good friend who owns a truck repair garage near me, I would probably see if he could keep one for me there I suppose... My two car garage isn't tall enough for a tractor, Plus I keep my Hot Rod in there.
