Hello Everyone , I just bought a Mack CH 427 electronic pump V Mack 1996, now they truck ran fine taking it home , no problems, let it cool down, then shut truck off,,, came back out after a bit , started it up and she is blowing all kinds of black smoke out , went to shut truck off and she will not shut off with the key , had to pop the clutch and stall it to get it to turn off, Iam new to the Macks but I ve been a Mechanic for Years, Need some help on this though Anyone have any Suggestions!!!!!!!

I would not try to start untill i had a mack mechanic check it out. Sounds like it has stuck a barrel and plunger while in full fuel position. It may not but if you dont know mack engines you dont want to learn on this one. Who ever starts it need a choke plat and intake off down to the metal side of the intake of the turbo.

I would check out the turbo seeif it didn't creater on the way home!
