Im wanting to hook up a oil temp gauge on my E9 superliner, the truck was not built with the gauge,. I have looked for spots to put the sensor, on the back of oil cooler where oil pressure line comes off, I could tape into there, or I could just tee it off the gauge in the dash. any thoughts would help! bobo

nope! if i did it should be by the 3 oil fiters correct? bobo

Yep the oil temp sending unit should be in the oil pan. My Superliner does not have one either and I've always wanted one. A good welder could put you a fitting in the oil pan, but I guess I have too much of my dad in me to drill a hole in a pefectly good oil pan. And I'm not sure teeing off the oil pressure line will give an accurate reading. You be the guinea pig on that deal and let me know how it works.

Thanks,
