I've got a CH 6H613 with a non-working A/C, the compressor does not want to run when the A/C is turned on. It does appear to have a refrigerant charge. There is a switch on top of the receiver/dryer that has a single wire and double wire plug on it. I pulled the double wire plug off and put a jumper wire across the plug at the wire loom, then the compressor ran and appeared to put out cooler air. So any thoughts on why the compressor won't stay engaged? Bad switch somewhere? I've heard some people talk about a binary switch that sometimes causes issues.

Thanks

Probably too low on refrigerant charge to "make" the low pressure cutout switch setting. This precludes the compressor running and not circulating oil to lubricate itself.
