I have an '04 CH and it is on the driver side kind of on the side of the radiator. The A/C drier is mounted to the side of the radiator support and the switch is on the drier. Not sure if the CX is the same but I would look for the canister shaped drier. As for the paperclip, I think that would work as I think that switch should be normally closed. Also thought later, what is the engine temp normally? Trey
