yep....I picked up 2 tank brackets yesterday to replace the rusted out ones on the drivers side...right side was in good shape...hows the truck running? done anything to her lately.Im getting the fenders and grille shell painted now.. I keep chipping away at it...Jim

Reason I ask , I had a bit of rust on the fuel tank band on the pass. side. Took care of it all... I thought, I guess I missed a little under the band when I sanded it and after driving it last Saturday I found a fuel leak from the tank. Working on that now.

Have you thought of a paint job your going with yet? ,Jay

most all i have seen are mounted at an angle. only ones i have seen straight are fire trucks or ex fire trucks. have seen a few fire trucks changed over into tractors and they have a spacer block between the frame and the bracket. i guess this was to get the brackets paralell so the side skirts would align with the tank body? thanks, Matt
