I'm new here so bear with me

I have a 1953 B 42 P that up to 4 years ago was a daily driver in Queens New York

The inside of the cab has a gold /tan paint job that includes seat frames and every detail

In some places I can see where the paint has come off over the years that the Mack green is underneath

The way this is painted was there at any time that Mack painted some interiors gold/tan due to 53 being the first year?

The paint job seems so complete that I don't understand why a private company would go thru the effort of repainting the complete interior

If it turns out that it is a private repaint what is the green paint code and where can I locate some?

Thanks

Barry from WATTS posted this interior color in the WIKI section of this site. Scroll down and its toward the bottom. Yes companies would paint the Macks any color that suited them. The Green color Is:

Omni (PPG) Acrylic Enamel #MAE 45735

Profit Reading # 1335

Original Kirker Paint # 812 or (812A)

Hope this helps!
