Had a bad day today with my B61 / Unishift transmission. I have maxi brakes installed on my truck and it has sat for about 3 months . Went out today to move it and built up air and took the brakes off and they were fast. I tried to ( gently) rock the truck in reverse and 2nd low and heard a terrible noise from below. Got out and found the auxiliry case split!!!!! Can't believe my eyes, never have seen a Mack case split ever---- but this one is- Need to find a unishift trans to replace it- air shift one. Any help would be greatly appriciated!

You would be better off replacing with a duplex two stick. If you can find parts for the unishift at all, to repair what came apart internally, the case can be welded back together. Those transmissions were troublesome unless kept in proper adjustment and maintained well, and often.

I've got one that was pulled out of a H-67.Truck sat for about 25 years,we never tried it,for fear of alot of hassle with all the air controls from it sitting, replaced it with a 2 stick duplex.I wouldn't be afraid to use it for parts.Let me know if you are interested.I'm in Iowa.
