Our 1973 R700 is in very good shape mechanically, however, the electrical side needs a lil work. It has 4 6 volt batteries and what I think is called a series parallel switch. What is involved in converting it to 4 12v batteries like my Superliner. The truck is super dependable mechanically but not electrically. I am going to redo the truck, repaint it and repair the rust on the drip rail and want to get the wiring straightened out once and for all. thanks rob 704-507-2453

I might add that it is positive ground ..would there be benefit to switching to neg ground like the later trucks?
