Underdog Posted October 17, 2011 Share Posted October 17, 2011 Sunday was a good day in Bangor. FINALLY have made some time lately to move ahead on the F607. Got the engine out to repair spun main bearing and crankshaft. I plan to repair this engine and put it back in, since this is one of the few early F's I would like to keep it original. Underdog Posted October 17, 2011 Author Share Posted October 17, 2011 As an added bonus to make my day complete, I actually sold the B-61 LST and moved it out. A father and son bought the truck with plans to restore it. 11-year-old Jimmy seems ambitious and very interested in the old trucks and his dad already has a few, including a B-30. I am looking forward to seeing the B-61 at truck shows in the future rather than in the scrapyard. I had enough "fun" at the ATHS convention in South Bend, I'll be making the jaunt east to attend the next upcomming one in 2012. Looking forward to seeing you in Mass. hope we both have iron up & running.I am just 5 min. off I-80 near the PA/NJ line if you need a pit stop about 200 miles away from Springfield, MA. I have already decided to take time off for this show since it is so close to home.
