There will be numbers hand stamped into the left side of the transmission. It should be something like: TRL-107, (if a five speed) or a series of letters and numbers.

This information will help you as you can't tell what model is being sold by the photo.

The X1071 is the number set that is an identifier. It is a straight five speed trans with a 11.23:1 first gear reduction, (from memory). I don't have any books here at home so can't be certain.

The "TR" I mentioned earlier is Mack nomenclature for transmission; "X" denotes heavy, or extreme duty, (triple countershaft) and 107 is the basic gearset, and I think the "1" means a lower reduction first gear.
