Hey guys,

I finally got the spin-on filter assm. on my old 673(McOz you were right about changing the water pump housing I also had to use the pump that came with it to line up the fan belts, and the gasket # you gave me was right on,thanks) when I fired it up the oil pressure went to the max, at dead idle it was keeping a steady 95psi. The only reason I can come up with is that the unit came off a turbo engine and I removed and plugged the oil line so there is no release. I'm not sure how to solve this. Do I try and find a different relief set-up for the new housing or should I run a line from the turo port to the 1/4 drain back hole? Would that be enough? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Bill
