Are there any differences between a 2v block and a 4v?

The Superliner I just drug home has a ventilated block,I've got a good 2v 350 block.,just wondered if they were compatible of if there was some little differences that would prevent me from building a good engine from the 2.

Can you put 4v heads on a 2v block?

Probably wouldn't be a good idea in the long run. If It did work you'd be putting a lot of stress on a cam not meant be pushing twice the valves with a different variation and possibly timing. You probably could bore out the 2v block to accept the 4v cam but It would be better to just keep the 2v heads.
