Then screw everyone, he can do what ever he wants because he doesn't need to worry about votes. Like turning down the Keystone pipeline now to pander to the enviromentalist while telling the unions to wait until after the election then he can approve it and they have the jobs building it.Also makes his administration flexible to crap on the second ammendment, ban farm kids from driving a tractor, force people to pay for health care items that violate their religious beliefs, do who knows what in support of homo marriage, and continue the path to bankruptcy. Kinda like the "Jones" down the street in the big house with 2 new Hummers in the yard with a $40K ski boat, new 4wheelers, great big 5th wheel toy hauler to haul them with a new $60K crew cab diesel with about $8K in tires, wheels and other custom accessories who are in debt up to their eyeballs but pretend they can afford this life style until they hit one little hiccup along the way. Then you see what was really going on when everything is repo'd and they are on their a**'s with nothing. They were living a facade and fooled you....for a bit until reality bit them in the a** right in front for everyone to see.
