looking for an exhaust manifold or a complete engine for a 1949 EQ

i have a complete 1948 en354. not sure what parts are compatible but i will let it go for cheap. motor is stuck

where do I find the engine model #? I don't see a plate with the model #

the engine model and serial is on timing gear housing on the right side about in line with number one exhaust port.need a small wire brush to clean surface off.good luck.Bob

a 354 is the correct engine for EQ.opptional was diesel or 431 thermodyne .a 402 out of B-42 will also fit.a lot of truckers put REO Gold Comet or WHITE MUSTANG in.fit with little or no modifications.mine hade gold comet OHV took it out and dropped 354 A right in.front and rear mounts fit the same.Bob

I checked it out and it is a 431 we found another engine which will work with some modifications to the exhaust

the old air compressor is not working any ideas where I can find one?
