This is from the 66 R model I am restoring. The hub connecting to the brake drum is one piece and only a few inches to spare. What is the tool to hammer out a broken stud? in the picture you can see my guy tried to take a bolt and push it out with no luck.

Do you have a photo from a different angle. Don't think I've sever seen that setup before?

I had to think on it awhile but my A40 uses the same setup to space the wheel out from the hub. The studs are pressed into the spacer and if they are snapped without enough to grab with a tool, it will need to be softened, then drilled for an easy out, or a small "wedgie" placed on the backside between the two rows of studs and hydraulic pressure applied. At the same time, heat is applied to the forging holding the stud. It will "pop" with force when it breaks loose.

In the photo the the outer wheel is mounted minus the inner wheel on the hub.

You could weld a nut on either end of the stud and turn it out if it is threaded in. If you find is's a spline, then put a nut on the back side and a steel block (or hammer head) between the end of the stud and the drum flange and push it out buy turning the nut off.
