Have a 2004 Vision CX600, 350000 miles, 460HP. Just got, took first loaded run today. Fully loaded (95,000 lbs) truck and pup on straight aways on interstate cannot get more than 55mph out of it. Runs fine unloaded. No governor on it. Engine running right at 225F. Coolant is full. Any thoughts before I have to take it to the Mack dealer locally and dump more money into it?

I had similar problem with my 460, only worse. Couldn't get more than 30 mph empty. Fuel transfer pump was the problem. The gear that drives the pump is plastic and pressed onto the shaft. Over time it wears out and slips on the shaft. My truck was a 2000 CX they may have corrected that problem with the newer models but worth a look.
