Been working on getting an original window frame back into one of my B61's as you already know. Whilst we made a lot of fitments and adjustments my helper didn't quite follow the standard proceedure to installing/welding in the framework I had wanted. Although close and well within 1/8th inch of being perfect, the body character lines on the sheet metal don't quite align as the support braces are just a bit long holding the frame just a tad high in the opening. No real problem to repair except normal procedure is to fit and clamp most everything into place before welding, eliminating guesswork. This vital step was "glossed over" as to importance while I was painting the side of a customer's car.

I figured he needed encourgement to do right and ensure such doesn't happen again, so I grabbed the finest learning tool in the shop:

Sometime over the weekend I'll take a slice disc and cut the cab back braces shortening the required amount before welding them in solid.

No harm, no foul. He does a good job in the shop.
