I know I'll probably get ribbed. but here it goes. Friday afternoon I finally got a load and was letting the truck warm up getting ready to go. pushed the clutch in and It made the damndest sound. Almost a grind, whine, humm all put into one. Friday night when we parked came back from eating and this thing was making all kinds of racket. Shifter never budged but the clutch pedal everytime the noise came around would really vibrate.

Shut it down till it got to cold and fired back up. Made alot of racket then quited down. Fast forward to yesterday. Loaded and went to take off and the clutch grabbed alittle sooner and faster then norm. parked lastnight and took off this morning and the Clutch pedal was considerably down. Also seemed to loose about an inch or 2 of clutch travel. Meaning it got closer to the floor. Had it adjusted tonight and there at 1 time was 2 or 3 bolts holding a plate over the adjustment screw. Supposedly this is no longer there as the guy just adjusted it with out taking anythign off. Took the inspection plate off and some metal came out which isn't sounding good. Where can I get the parts to lock the adjustment screw inplace long enough to get the truck to south fl? Any good shops around that can do this and not take me for a ride? In Lamar,Co now and heading to Houston. Thanks.

Also this is a 98 Pete. I don't care who works on it as long as it gets done right
