I was just up in the U.P. of Michigan a couple of weeks ago. There was a race with all vintage sleds in it,somewhere up there. You would have liked that,U model. My uncles used to sell and race Sno Prince snowmobiles back around 1969-72 in Wausau,Wis.My first sled was a '68 Arctic Cat Panther w/ a 600 Hirth 30hp motor. When it ran, it was fast. But when it got stuck in deep snow, you needed something with a Holmes 750 on it,to pull you out! It weighed a ton! Had a'67 Panther w/300 Hirth single and finished up with a '77 Polaris Colt SS 340.My favorite machine of all because it rarely needed anything but gas/oil and miles of open trail.Sold that one in '83 while in the ARMY.

IF YOU BOUGHT IT, A TRUCK BROUGHT IT..AND WHEN YOU'RE DONE WITH IT, A TRUCK WILL HAUL IT AWAY!!! Big John Trimble,WRVA
