This was at the annual "Cotton Gin Festival" in Bostwick, Ga. The event is held each year on the first Saturday in November. This pat year (2011) we had 194 tractors of all types and colors. I supprised everyone when I hauled my tractor in the parade with my B61. I think it drew more attention than most anything else. (I guess I may be bragging a little too!) I will admit there wasn't another mack there. Someone said after the show there were between 4-5 thousand folks there! The state shuts down the state route 83 all day for us! If you are ever in this area about that time of the year we would love to have some more macks or any "big rig" come and show off! That is me at the wheel. A friend took these pictures and I don't know if there are any more or not. I know it was recorded on dvd and will try to get a copy and try to figure out how to post it. It is call "touch-a-truck". We have all types of "rigs" at this show. We have construction equiptment, long haulers, local haulers, logging rigs etc. Caterpillar, from what I have been told, is going to bring some of their big off road dumps and crawlers there. Caterpillar has just started on a new plant in Athens, Ga. which is suppose to employee about 1400 folks, which is good for this area. I will take some photos and post them if there is anything I thing yall would like to see. Is that a 3 or 4 bottom your pulling?Dale...
