ive never seen that picture of it. here is a link to a F model for sale since were talkin about F models. http://www.oldmacks.com/trucks.htm

Quick someone get me a winning lottery ticket! Love it! Still need an F model (or two, three etc.) a B8x, and an LJSWX.

On the same note, the Evel Knievel Mack donor truck was the blue F model Dennis had a while back. When I bought my Mack from him I asked him about that F.

Good Lord Now i remember why my family in Jacksonville Beach,Fl told me to NEVER BUY Equipment & Trucks out of Fl.

The Sand not only eats up undercarriage on crawlers but evidently eats @ Cabs on trucks as well like salt does up north. . :o:blink::unsure::wacko:

this is what my cabs floor is. and as usual the drip rail is rotted.

Just like Chevy trucks: One a quiet, calm day, if you listen closely, you can hear them rust from a distance.

Brads Trucks made it so it could move under its own power until the cab is removed, then the engine and Allison will be rebuilt. It was shut off in 1981 and never again ran til the video. The truck is a 1971 1974 FS786LST with a factory extra long chassis. Total length with trailer is 66 ft 6 inches and needed special permits at the time for a lot of areas. Old Macks is one of the sponsors and is rumored to be coming up with a cab.

The last use was his World Tour with his son in 1980/ 81, with their bikes the Rocket Cycle and Evels Drag car sponsored by AMT Models and AMF

It's a '74 isn't it,a '71 couldn't be a FS786,the ENDT676 didn't come out till '73.

Unique truck to say the least,i've only ever seen a handful of Hayward F-models with factory dual headlights,be something to see it restored to its former glory......seems to me i read somewhere Mack was not happy with his exploits, and dropped him as a sponsor. Also seem to remember his last touring truck was a KW?..............Mark

I read on the Restore site he parted with KW and went to Mack, I know I have a photo of his KW 100 some one sent me. It's all beat to crap in anger. I believe the Mack was his last rig. Paul

Robbie was at a Street Race track for a big jump in down town D.C This was about 6 years ago? We were there selling race car parts for the ALMS series. He cam on the truck looking to buy some glue to keep his rubber handle bar grips tight. We dident have any glue but I suggested that he try hair spray as thats what we used when i was a kid. He said he had forgotten all about that trick but agreed that it works pretty good. that was my 5 mins of spotlight...
