Diesel runs on L.I. now between 4.20 and 5.00 a gallon and expected to go up 50 to 75 cents more. It's a pay check for an employee for weekly fuel. I'll have to make an other one part time to pay fuel costs This is change? RowdyRebel Posted February 25, 2012 Share Posted February 25, 2012 Hey...it's not his fault fuel prices are going up....nevermind the fact that he shut down the deep well drilling in the gulf (which caused the rigs to go to other wells off the shores of other countries), as well as blocking the pipeline from Canada, and making it damn near impossible to extract resources from federal land....or even his limp-wristed response to Iran and utter failures in all things related to the middle east. If you listen to Obama, these high fuel prices are the sign of economic recovery...NOT related at all to his incompetance.Besides, what do we need all that oil for? We've got solar and wind energy companies going bankrupt (even WITH billions of dollars of taxpayer money backing 'em), taxpayer subsidies for companies willing to convert food into fuel (which also has caused FOOD prices to go through the roof)....not to mention the promise to look into turning pond scum into fuel...... 2 Quote When approaching a 4-way stop, the vehicle with the biggest tires has the right of way!
