Anyone in need of some front drums (17QJ3149BP1) to fit FA505 axle? Matt Pfahl is thinking about getting some made but needs to get a minimum order of 8 to do so. If you are interested, post here or call Matt ASAP!!

Hi Barry, I don't have any way of tracing the number but what size drums, and Budd style, or Dayton?

According to Matt, they fit Dayton or budd. Size is 16x3 inch

I'll measure all four of my trucks with that axle and get back with you guys. I wouldn't mind having new drums for them if not exhorbitant in cost. All of mine are serviceable now, (I believe).

Thanks,

Rob

Your old drums should have a 17QJ number cast into them on the outside near the mounting surface but I know that through the years, these casting numbers wear off and rust over! Not easy to find them sometimes!

I dropped four nice and clean ones at the blast yesterday to get them clean. They measure serviceable after turning but I'm going to paint them up pretty, (maybe pink for olive), LOL but the numbers should be easy to see then.

Would Watt's be willing to stock a few?
