They are not difficult to make by hand with a bench vice, a piece of two inch round stock, and durable marker, hammer, dolly block, and patience, lots of patience. Oh yeah, wear gloves.

I never think of them cause I always do. Like the morning business, it's second nature.

I worked at place that subscribed to a service that provided safety posters for construction offices. One had a story of a guy that went to the Dr. to have his broken glass eye replaced. The Dr. ask him how he broke it and he said he was driving cut nails and one hit the glass eye and it broke. Then the Dr. ask how he lost his eye and he said "Oh, doing the same thing".

Bullhusk, they are available on e-bay through American Muscle Car Parts $134.88 R or L! e-Bay name: ammuscle

I've seen the +3 style offered myself but never the early ones. I'll have to look. That is quite a bit more than the supplier I've used in the past.

They have changed the wording on their adds. That does look very much like the early cab corner. The +3 style has a character line pressed into it where this one does not.

I always said one of these days I would take a R cab and stretch it another 5-6" behind the doors. Thought that would be so nice to be able to stretch your legs in a day cab R or atleast recline a little!

\

They ain't too bad with a 16" steering wheel that just clears my gut, (barely) but it does make the steering a bit "jerky" when hitting a bump from kickback.

Believe it or not I've always found the R models seating position quite comfortable for me. It is the cab noise that makes me feel like "Momma" has been singing at me for several hours. Picture a kid learning to play cymbles for several hours and you'll know what I mean.

the seat position is fine I just dont like that I cant stretch out. This IH I drive you cant touch the pedals with the seat all the way back. not that I drive like that but boy do my knees like it. But dont worry we will run at your pace and my trailer has a nice comfy couch for you to sleep on at night. you will even have AC/Heat to help forget that days trip.... LOL

I replaced mine with new ones from Ebay seller ammuscle.

I called him and he is a very nice fellow to deal with.

The parts fit well.

Attached is a picture of the corners installed.

Thanks for posting the positive experience. Many more need to do this when the experience is either positive or negative which can save a headache for someone else.
