hi there. i am a logger /truck driver/mechanic from eastern oregon and i bought a 1976 amck rl700l log truck last august so i could start hauling my own trees. i started doing some parts searches online and found this website and thought it would be great to share my love of trucks ,wrenching, and driving with you. im not sure how to but i would love to break down the restoration of this old truck and include some pics of the work we do to her and any pics of her actually working and hauling logs. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Welcome to the forum. My father bought a '75 RL712LST out of California a couple of years ago. He loves the thing. There are quite a few of the long nose lovers on the forum. It would be great to see some pictures. To post a picture go down to "more reply optionns" in the right lower corner. Then "choose files" in the left lower corner. Pick your picture from your files. Then "add reply" in the center on the bottom. The yellow and black truck is my father's RL.

Welcome aboard.

Next he'll say is it has a V8 in it!!! Don't let Rob know where it's parked, when he goes to Nevada he might sneak up and drag it home too??? He is trying to corner the market on 700's!

Oh, yes, pictures. We love pictures.
