I am on my second 3.7 litre container of Tal-Strip II made by Mar-Hyde. It sells for about $60 per container but is good stuff. When you get down to 50 year old red lead based primer it is tough to get off and will take at least 2 applications. It works best if you assist with a putty knife or some kind of abrasive pad. It has a picture of a big Air Force plane on the container. I hear they make a Tal-Strip I also but that II is the better one. You do not need to use a respirator but it should be used outdoors or with plenty of ventilation and you MUST use gloves or you will lose skin. I know that for a fact.
