As the House and Senate try to come to agreement on a highway bill that could include a requirement to mandate electronic onboard recorders, I want to say, I believe we're being taken for a ride on this push to mandate EOBRs.

My Rand McNally 700 gps keeps a log, on duty, off duty, the whole works. It also keeps track of state miles toll and non toll for fuel tax. You just plug it into the computer and download the file......sent from Charlotte N.C.

From what I've read over the past year in Over Drive the system is not up to speed yet as far as accuracy. Opinion wise, I'm more against them than for them as of now. I'll still wait and see. Paul
