You can do a self-diagnostic without a scan tool if that is what you need. Just turn the Speed Control switch to OFF, then press and hold the SET/DECEL switch until the fault lamp goes off. The blink codes will follow with a two digit code, each digit seperated by one second delay. Let me know what you find, I have the blink-code guide.

thanks, I already did this one. the thing is it don't show any code. oil pressure is ok water level/temperature is good and the truck would shut off after hard pull. you wait a few seconds/minutes and it fire right up. solenoid in the fuel pump have been change...

If The fault light is not coming on when it shuts down its not somthing the puter knows or cares about! I have seen the the ECU fail when the cab temps get too warm!

But re start was not possible till cool down! Check all the grounds and the plug to the fuel pump If you have any pins on the fuel pump plug the look to have been warm have the pins changed at the dealer !
