I'm going to start to redo the front and rear spring sets for my AC. Got my new center bolts, spring clips and bushings.

Now would it be best to have the leaves media blasted (walnut shell or the like) or just use a DA?

Not really any rust just tons of paint and grease. I have Teflon sliders from Glide Suspension Company to go between each leaf. Paul

I would pres. wash to get rid of the grease. Then use black beauty to blast them.

A DA (to me) would take too much time and paper if really loaded with paint. Also, if blasted might reveal a hidden crack that the DA wouldn't.

Good suggestion, kind of the way I was thinking. I will use the the Zyglo kit I have to crack for checks. Used it on the chassis and worked well. I'll hit the body supply shop for Black Beauty tomorrow. Thanks Paul
