Hey guys, I had plans to be there, but I will not be now. I have to go school shopping. I already fought with my Mom, but that didnt work. Papa will be there for a little though. Hes gotta bring Doug Fetterlys golf Cart to him because Doug had no room on trailer.

I'm still wishy-washy about going. I have the time off, but it is a 5 or 6 hour drive. My father and mother are taking our two junky brockways up on the trailer again so I would be going by myself in my car. Anyone want to ride up with me? I would leave Boyertown PA Friday morning and leave Cortland Saturday about 4pm.

David

The auction is about 7-7:30 PM on friday night. It contains mostly Brockway parts, Various vender (Cummins,Detroit,Eaton, etc) shop manuals and literature, two years ago there was a complete truck, and last year a large 3x6 foot statue of a Huskie. Craig Morgan is in charge of it and I do not have his email addy. Try Stan Augustine at Saugustine@stny.rr.com and he should have some info as well as Craigs email.

Vinny

You better have your Papa have a serious talk with your mother!! You can buy school clothes and paperwork on a Sunday or at night, But there is only one day for a 100th anniversary truck show. Heck have him tell her that he needs your assistance to unload the golf cart!!

Mike

I hope you can make it up. I am driving just a tad further.. the long side of 750-800 mile from below Greenviille SC.

We loaded up our two junky Brockways and headed to Cortland in the rain. My parents went in the Superliner and I drove alone in my car. It was done raining by the time we got here. Peter Grim was doing burn outs in his 761 with a V12 Detroit. Plenty of cool trucks to look at. Hopefully more will show up tomorrow.

That was the best parade I was ever in. I met several people from the forum. Brian Enck was behind me in the parade. I also met Joe Ditchkus and Brocky. Lots of really nice trucks. I hope I can make it next year.

Mike

It was great meeting you and your Dad. Am glad you enjoyed the show. You missed getting this picture of a mirror back.

The final count was 154 Brockways on Main St plus the 9 displayed on the museum floor made a total of 163 registered.

I made it to the Cortland show for the first time and it was great!

First order of business was the 6 1/2 hour drive to the farm in Ontario from NH on Thursday. Spent some time checking out the Brockway for the journey.

Friday morning my Dad and I left with him driving. At 7+ decades, he calls the shots and this is a truck he really enjoys driving. We crossed back into US through Cape Vincent, NY after a 15 minute ferry boat ride. From Cape Vincent to Cortland took us about 2 1/2 hours.

Saturday on Main Street Cortland was lots fun visiting with friends and checking out all the trucks. I will post some more pictures later. There was a lot to see!

Sunday was the trip back to Ontario and the last 15 minutes of driving was the only rain we got. Pulled back into the garage and the odometer reads just a bit over 159,000 original miles.

The truck is a 359 with a 6-71 Detroit, RT-910 trans with 4.10 gears on 22.5 tires. The stake body is an 18 ft. Morgan.

Also, took a photo in the mirror as the parade was forming to the Main Street site from the Brockway Museum area.

Jim

Is your 359 for sale? Haha, I love 359's! Was Mike Rodericks green 361 in the parade?
