happy labor day to all,

just joined the forum

I have "restified" many old pieces of equipment over the years (40+) and saved many from the scrapeyard

current projects are a pair of 49 eh's

they are amazingly straightforward, repair wise

both are running good, got brakes on both, and tomorrow the dump on the one should work

honestly, my brother and I were planning on selling them to a good home as we both have WAY too many projects in works (just ask my wife...lol)

but when we actually list them, they both will drive up on the trailer.

we've actually discussed restore or (purist cringe) a real neat rat rod

but both are to complete to do that

if anyone needs help, repair wise, feel free to ask (not just old macks, but any vintage stuff from gas, to diesel, and even steam....new and old

very nice forum, proud to be a part

Know exactly where it is. Loaded an excavator from an auction site there. Looked like everything was brought in as there was a bunch of warehouses there and a bike shop. Had a friend that lived in Spring but after his death the fam packed up and moved to Dallas. Usually hang out in Clevland,Houston,Baytown, all over the place down there.
