Yes 16 plus the 14 B81's (of which 3 B81's that I sold are still working on the Cape today hauiling asphalt and feeding a crusher, one being a 1956). What happened is that I got sick, brought partners in and over extended the business, lost it all by the time I was 26. Then went into my present business which has been very successful.

Thanks Ben, I did own a Cab Over GMC single axle tractor with a 873 (I believe that was the model engine) back in 1961. Been only Macks after that, with the exception of one White Mustang single axle dump and a DC103 Autocar twin screw dump. But as I have explained on here before I have been in the Tool & Die business sinse 1972 after ceasing my trucking operation. Best Regards, Paul

Would love to see a pic of that gmc cabover always liked the looks of those. At one time there was a beer distributor in chambersburg that had a few of those but I think they had Chevy nameplates. That was many years ago when I was a kid.

You might be thinking of the GMC Astro 95/Chevy Titan 90. In 1961, the GMC "Crackerbox" was the big cabover. The Astro came out in '68 and Chevy's identical Titan which came out around '70.

Yes Vlad, You are correct, as I had told Vinny I had a second choice in life to fall back on when my trucking business collapsed back in 1972. Was glad I went to engineering school right out of high school, however, if I did have it to do over again, would have went to business school also. Me giving a hand out in the shop last week when one of my men was out that day. Paul
