bubbamobilin Posted August 23, 2005 Share Posted August 23, 2005 I have 2 EM6300's that I would like to put engine brakes on. How hard are these to find? One truck is a '89 and the other is a '90. Both are 4 valve engines. Can you put a Dynatard on these engines or do you have to use a Jake Brake? Does anyone have any on an old out of service engine that they would be willing to sell? Thanks! I have a set of dynatard brakes for my EM6300 but the cam is junk. Dealer quote was over $600. fullfuel01 Posted September 13, 2005 Share Posted September 13, 2005 not sure about the camshaft... i know that it works with the grove in it but does they install them in every truck even if they do not put dynatard? need to change rocker shaft, the wiring..
