I went to look at a used 1976 single axle R 686T dump that was for sale. After building up the air pressure, I went and released the blue and yellow knobs, and all the air dumped out. The owner insisted that nothing was wrong, and that I only have to push in the yellow knob to release the brakes. He did this and tried to move the truck, but I could hear the brakes squealing as they held the truck back while this guy revved the piss out of the engine to get it to move. Am I wrong, or is there something wrong with this truck ? I really did like it for the price, but was wondering if this is an expensive problem to fix.
