hello guys.

i need some head gaskets for a 711 with 20 studs.

i don`d know what wrong with my engine but befor a take it apart i would like to be sure i can put it back together.

there are some head gaskets on ebay but i need the parts number.

if someone has a partsbook of a 711 engine i would have some copies of that.

hope someone can help me out.

some 711's had the copper gaskets with 20 studs and some newer ones had the paper type like a 237 with the fire rings on them. being as yours is an r model i would assume yours might have the newer gaskets on it. last i knew both types were still available from Mack

i think mine are the steel one`s.

don`t know if there`s much diference on that type of gaskets.

Hey Leon I'm on the look out for head gaskets for my 711 also I'm going to stop by a local NAPA store that is vary good with finding stuff like that ill let you know what I come up with. Is there a short video on YouTube of your truck ?

more, I thought about your Superliner just today thinking around a sleeper.

My plan is to make it apart with another one to built a good one.

Although I have 3 at the moment.

But the color is wrong, it would come good for "Ineke" :D
