...From the great New Jersey adventure. After I unloaded Monday morning I had to go to Baltimore to load, and unload Monday night in Lynchburg, so I didn't have time to stick around.

Sunday evening traffic on I-66. These people ought to be at home on Sunday, watching football or the nascar race!

D.C. from the Woodrow Wilson bridge.

Some ships in the bay.

From the Annapolis Bay Bridge- $24 to cross.

Oshkosh snow blower at Lakehurst.

A blimp, big hangars, and planes at Lakehurst.

They already had a pretty good size stockpile of the landing mats that I delivered there.

From the Delaware Memorial bridge- $25 to cross.

From the Key Bridge in Baltimore- $16 or $18 to cross.

Nothing a little diesel fuel won't take care of...

I even saw another girl in another car when I was going to Warren, Ohio.

And this large unit behind a tractor on rt. 220. I don't know what it was.

...and I even saw a big Mack truck in Hubbard, Ohio this morning.

Cool shots. I see that blimp all the time over my shop. The Navy is testing blimps again for use in surveillance. While you were there did you check out the Hindenburg crash site?

No, I just took a bad picture of the Hindenburg sign.

Why is she wearing a Mae West? And nice smile....At least she's a good sport, she could have told you that you were number one.....If I were younger and single, I would have tried to get her to stop for a coffee!!!

Stopping for a coffee is always good practice.

Though I'm single for some last years.

I think about the second picture the pressure was higher.

Need to add as usual that I like stock condition :)

yeah, i've always preferred that route over 95. Things have changed so much up around Middletown, De. I hardly recognized the place. I remember when there was hardly anything there but Moneys truckstop, the ice cream stand, the vegetable market- now it looks like a booming metropolis! I didn't even see the place where I used to stop and buy 50 lb. bags of potatoes to bring home.

You're right about that, used to be nothing in middletown, was the new northbound scale built the last time you were up that way? used to be a breeze running that way till maryland got on board with the southbound scale. I also used to stop at the produce stand down from moneys truckstop, they had the best sharp cheese! a "wheel" with the black wax around it,last time i was through there it was still open, but i did'nt have time to stop,i had to stay with the program...........................Mark

been running 301/50 this week from DAF Base to Ft. Meade Md, moving jet engines to be shreaded, crazy thing is we treat them like new, tarps and all, then they yank them off with a chain, drop them on the ground and push em in a pile, new they were 4.5 million each, so the slip says.

Shuster's had a run that would have deliveries anywhere between Chestertown, MD and Eastville,VA. The area around I-95 is a mess but fortunately there's still plenty of unspoiled real estate on the 50/301 and 13/113 corridors. I've always enjoyed running that part of the east coast...except for OC in the summer.
