Vladislav Posted October 31, 2012 Share Posted October 31, 2012 My cab is galvanized with zink.Not shure about doors although they haven't any rust in a down area.Double walling is a surprizing thing to me, I red about it in production sheets but haven't seen a cab with inside linings removed. 1MACK1 Posted October 31, 2012 Share Posted October 31, 2012 My R688RST build date 17 dec 1985 has brown/tan interior and tan wheel this was one of the last to come of line with brown / tan as we looked up the serial numbers and the next truck on line that day had silver grey ? It kind of made it more modern. This was installed in my truck in 1989 and I just put it in my new cab after I repainted it. More to follow! The metal parts were grey metallic and the interior was completely covered in black vinyl, identical to the tan upgrade package posted by Yoos Bros.
